Digital X-Rays

We believe in providing our patients with the highest possible standard of care. One way in which we can help you accomplish your oral health goals is to incorporate the latest diagnostic equipment into our practice. When you visit A-Dental Center for your routine dental check-up and cleanings, we will use digital x-ray equipment to capture the necessary details of your teeth when necessary.

Digital x-rays offer our dental team the most detailed images of your teeth and jaw. With our state-of-the-art equipment, we can capture standard images of the teeth, or panoramic images of the entire oral structure. On top of the greater visualization, digital x-rays are optimal for patient health, carrying about 80 percent less radiation than conventional x-ray imaging.

X-ray imaging is invaluable to excellent dental treatment, alerting your dentist to developing dental problems like cavities. The better our imaging, the earlier we can provide necessary treatment for improved oral health.

The process of x-ray imaging using innovative diagnostic tools is simple and comfortable for our patients. We begin by placing a small sensor in the area of the mouth where we need to gain a better view. A beam is directed to the area, and the sensor records imaging of teeth and the jaw. The images taken with digital x-ray equipment are sent directly to our computer system, where we can share them with patients when discussing problems and treatment options.

Intraoral cameras and digital x-rays make it possible for patients to understand their course of care better. The imaging used in dentistry today gives patients the opportunity to see what their dentist sees in full color, full sized images that make it easy to share information.

We make the most of our time with each patient. The technology that we have incorporated into our North Hollywood dental practice is one way in which we maximize the potential of each appointment. If you have questions regarding our practices, services, or technology, we are happy to answer them. Call us to learn more, and to schedule your visit with Los Angeles dentist Dr. Elzayat.
